The 15 Express Lanes Project expanded the region’s express lanes network, providing a new transportation option for motorists in southwestern Riverside County with multiple entry and exit points within the existing express lane network. Additionally, the project improved mobility along the I-15 corridor by reducing congestion, enhancing traffic operations, and increasing travel time reliability.

 

The project added two express lanes to I-15 in both directions, from State Route 60 to Cajalco Road, widened 11 bridges, and constructed six sound walls. The work was completed within the existing median, offering multiple entrance and exit points to the express lanes.

 

Montez Group provided the project’s Quality Management component and served as the overall Quality Manager for the Design-Builder JV, overseeing Design and Construction Quality Assurance. This included QMS development and implementation, design quality oversight, constructability reviews, test program plan implementation, internal auditing, and project owner oversight coordination.
